Defiance Pedestrian & Bicycle Trail

The Defiance Trail improvement effort was in collaboration with St. Charles County, Missouri. The project includes approximately 2100 lineal feet of right-of-way improvements including shoulder widening, pedestrian sidewalks, bike trail, crosswalk, and traffic island design. In addition, the improvements consisted of extensive landscaping, inclusion of one pedestrian bridge, railing enhancements, bench, bicycle rack and solar powered pedestrian level lighting. This project was designed under an aggressive design schedule in order to comply with Federal ARRA Funding schedule requirements.
