Survey Project Manager - Dallas, TX

Cole and Associates is currently looking for an employee with high regard for integrity and an exceptional aptitude for attention to detail in order to fill a position as a survey project manager.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for project research, drafting, coordination, and resolution for all types of surveys including Boundary surveys, Topographic surveys, ALTA/NSPS surveys, and Elevation Certificates
  • Responsible for client communication directly related to the project
  • Must provide an extremely high level of customer services
  • Responsible for effective time management on projects in coordination with the field crew manager
  • Responsible for project invoicing
  • Responsible for QA/QC of all office-related survey aspects
  • Ability to perform surveying calculations using Trimble Business Center and AutoCAD
  • Ability to perform construction calculations in AutoCAD for layout
  • Knowledge of Trimble surveying equipment and functionalities
  • Ability to read and understand plans and specifications
  • Possess effective written and oral communication skills
  • Must be able to travel
  • Must be physically able to work long hours with a flexible schedule
  • Must be punctual and reliable
  • Reports directly to the Survey Manager

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with required surveying credits
  • Minimum of 10 years surveying experience
  • RPLS Required
  • Candidate must have a valid driver's license
  • Microstation experience is preferred but not necessary
