Reading Avenue

Maryland Heights, Missouri

Phase I of this project involved the reconstruction of approximately 600 feet of Reading Avenue, a local unimproved street, to include pavement widening, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, storm sewers and street lighting. In Phase II, the design included an approximate 1,500 linear foot section of reconstruction to include a new 27-foot-wide roadway and gutter section, new sidewalks on both sides of the roadway, and an enclosed drainage system. The existing section consists of a 22-foot-wide, two-lane roadway with open ditch drainage and no sidewalks. Phase I was completed April, 2009, with Phase II completed in 2013.
